Here is another wonderful example of how people are leveling the playing field for podcasters. You don't have to have expensive hardware or software to level the volume of all participants in your podcast.
Just use THE LEVELATOR!
This wonderful software takes your podcast or other audio file and changes the audio levels, so various speakers' words are at the same volume.
This is quite a game changer. Try it out on Windows, OSX, or Linux(Ubuntu)

hi friends .. I like this article very helpful for me,,,,
ReplyDeleteWe are podcasting in the classroom starting next week. It should be interesting to see how the students take to it. I have just recently learned myself, so it is new to many of us. I am going to use the program called guitar band, which comes installed on Mac computers. Give us a few weeks to get them created and they will be uploaded to my blog:

Your students will love podcasting, and I'm sure they will learn so much through this activity. Garage Band is a great piece of software.
ReplyDeleteThere are other pieces of software that are available through open source options. Audacity is one that is very highly rated and easy to use.
Good luck with your project.
